Triple H didn’t hold back when it came to praising Donald Trump’s ability to captivate an audience—and he used his time on the Flagrant podcast with Andrew Schulz to break it all down.
“I think Trump’s ability… like him or hate him the way he does it… but he’s charismatic in so many ways,” Triple H said. “He likes getting under people’s skin, generating [heat]. It’s amazing and it’s genius, and it worked in our business.”
The WWE Chief Content Officer pointed out why Trump stood out long before politics: “There’s a lot of billionaires in the world, why was he the most famous one? Why was he the one that was in People Magazine every week and with everybody under the sun?” His answer: “Because of his charisma and his character and who he is, and the way he can speak about it and do all those things—he just captivates people.”
The podcast also had a little WWE crossover moment of its own. Schulz, who previously appeared on the March 10th edition of WWE RAW, revealed that Triple H has personally invited him to come back—either for a future episode or even WrestleMania 41—to settle the score with Logan Paul.
Whether or not Schulz gets back in the mix remains to be seen, but Triple H’s comments on Trump—and his eye for guest stars—definitely turned heads.
