WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg has confirmed that he plans to have his retirement match this year, and fans are eagerly waiting to see how it all plays out. To make matters more interesting, Goldberg has now started MMA training to prepare for the big match as well.

The Black Diamond Martial Arts academy took to their Instagram and uploaded photos of members with Goldberg, as it was clear the WWE Hall of Famer is now engaging in MMA training in order to prepare for his retirement bout.

They noted that they have seen big improvements from Goldberg in their training already. They thanked UFC fighter Relentless Badger for stopping by to help out and train and also gave a special shoutout to Goldberg, thanking him for trusting them to help with his comeback.

Goldberg recently confirmed he still needs to be medically cleared for his retirement match, so he is clearly taking his time and letting his body get into proper shape before his match in the Summer.

Goldberg is known for his power and intensity, so adding mixed martial arts to his training could make his final match even more exciting. He’s always been about strength and dominance, and this new training shows he’s serious about making his last match something special. Therefore, we’ll have to see how he will fare in his final match this year.
