AEW Struggles to Fill Seats for Spring TV Tapings

AEW has a stacked schedule this spring—but the ticket numbers are painting a mixed picture.

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW’s live event attendance remains hit-or-miss heading into April, May, and beyond. While AEW ALL IN: Texas is looking strong with over 13,000 tickets already gone, several episodes of Dynamite and Collision are struggling to break the 2,000 mark.

Here’s a full rundown of AEW’s ticket sales from April 12 through May 28, plus the numbers for the upcoming pay-per-views:

• AEW Collision – April 12 (Springfield): 2,182 tickets sold
• AEW Dynamite – April 16 (Boston): 2,853 tickets sold
• AEW Collision – April 17 (Boston): 1,526 tickets sold
• AEW Dynamite & Collision – April 23 (New Orleans): 1,649 tickets sold
• AEW Dynamite – April 30 (Norfolk): 1,645 tickets sold
• AEW Dynamite – May 14 (Chicago): 1,990 tickets sold
• AEW Collision – May 17 (Wichita): 1,086 tickets sold
• AEW Dynamite – May 21 (Rio Rancho): 1,620 tickets sold
• AEW Double Or Nothing – May 25 (Phoenix): 5,118 tickets sold
• AEW Dynamite – May 28 (El Paso): 1,943 tickets sold
• AEW ALL IN: Texas – July 12 (Arlington): 13,507 tickets sold

While ALL IN: Texas is clearly the standout, with over 13,500 already distributed for the July 12 show in Arlington, other shows are showing signs of struggle—especially Collision, which continues to lag behind Dynamite in most markets. Some upcoming tapings are still hovering around the 1,000–2,000 range, which raises some questions about AEW’s market saturation and promotional reach in certain cities.

Double or Nothing is tracking decently in Phoenix with over 5,000 tickets sold, but it’s not quite at blowout levels just yet. AEW will likely look to ramp up hype in the coming weeks to push that number higher.
