CM Punk is finally getting his WrestleMania main event moment, but don’t expect him to hang up his boots anytime soon.

In a new interview with Metro UK, the former WWE Champion made it clear that retirement isn’t exactly on his radar—despite the fact he’s approaching 30 years in the business and about to headline the biggest show of the year.

“No, because you never know what’s going to happen,” Punk said when asked if he’s thought about calling it quits. “If you would ask me when I was 26 if I would be wrestling when I was 46, I would have been like, ‘No way.’”

Punk acknowledged that the game has changed, especially for top-tier stars who don’t grind 300 nights a year anymore. “The business has changed so much, the miles that we put on our bodies for years and years and years, and now we’re here, and we’re wrestling maybe once a month, we’re doing one show a week,” he explained.

While his longtime rival John Cena is wrapping up his WWE run in 2025 with a farewell tour, Punk isn’t ready to follow suit—especially with a major triple threat against Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns on the horizon at WrestleMania 41.

From two Royal Rumble appearances to heated feuds with Drew McIntyre and Rollins, Punk’s comeback run has been nothing short of headline-worthy. And now, with the spotlight on Las Vegas, he’s set to fulfill a dream he’s chased for decades.
