The drama between Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton has been a major topic of discussion lately, especially after they went off script during their promo on the April 4 episode of SmackDown. A lot of personal digs were made during the promo, and now it appears Candice Michelle made it clear she supports them using real-life drama in the feud.

While speaking on Ten Count Media, Candice Michelle gave her opinion on Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton using real-life drama in their promo. She mentioned that they brought up things like Charlotte’s divorce and the accusation that Ludwig Kaiser was in Flair’s DMs. While this kind of storytelling can be risky, Candice said she thinks it’s actually smart because it brings out real emotion.

“Yeah, I mean, it can—but the truth is, it’s kind of a genius move. It really brings out the fire in you. It brings out a side that isn’t choreographed or planned. These two women are incredible athletes, and when it all comes down to it, the performance means more than anything.”

Michelle explained that using real situations can add fire and authenticity to a performance. It’s not choreographed or scripted, it feels raw and genuine. Candice praised both women as great athletes and said that when real emotions are added to an already strong performance, it creates powerful, memorable moments.

Michelle also pointed out that fans can relate to real-life struggles, which helps them connect more deeply with the performers. In her view, seeing Charlotte and Tiffany fight for something beyond just the match made it feel more meaningful. She called it brilliant storytelling and said she loved it.

“But when you add real emotion on top of that, that’s when you get those incredible moments—those times where you really connect with them. So many people in the world go through stuff like that. Wrestling is about connection, and showing how you get through tough moments. Watching these women on the biggest stage fight for something deeper than just the match—it’s kind of brilliant. I love it.”

During the segment, Charlotte Flair tried to get the crowd on her side by calling their cheers her “power,” but Tiffany Stratton didn’t hold back. She fired back by saying Charlotte isn’t “the queen of anything” outside the ring. Stratton also took shots at Charlotte’s famous last name, saying she’ll always be known as “second to her dad,” and even brought up her past marriages, adding, “What is that, zero and three?”

Charlotte responded by mocking Stratton’s voice and throwing in a sharp comment about “why Ludwig Kaiser is in my DMs.” Still, Stratton stayed cool and walked away with a smirk as the Chicago crowd loudly chanted her name, and Kaiser has already made fun of Flair’s accusation as well.

Backstage, people said the whole segment was a “wreck.” Charlotte Flair got some blame for starting it, while Tiffany Stratton was also called out for pushing things too far. One person said it got confusing when Charlotte tried to mimic Tiffany’s voice, and it became obvious things weren’t going as planned once the tension started to build.

At the moment, fans will have to wait and see how WWE keeps the storyline going between Charlotte and Tiffany as WrestleMania 41 gets closer. There’s a lot of real drama between them, and many are hoping things calm down so the story can stay focused.
