The long-awaited return of WWE’s all-women’s premium live event is officially on the books.
After weeks of reports and rumors swirling about the return of Evolution, WrestleVotes has now confirmed that the event is locked in for Saturday, July 5, 2025. The Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut will play host to the historic comeback, and fans won’t have to wait long for confirmation—an official announcement is expected this coming Monday.
On the latest episode of WrestleVotes Radio, it was stated: “We are told the date of that show has now been confirmed with the speculated date of Saturday, July 5, now locked in and official. Also, look for an official announcement from WWE about Evolution this coming Monday. So we’ll see how they present it, likely just a tweet. However, they may make a bigger deal about it.”
This backs up previous reports that WWE was eyeing the Mohegan Sun Arena for the show’s return, stirring up excitement from fans who’ve been calling for a second Evolution ever since the original 2018 show blew the roof off the Nassau Coliseum.
Even though some skepticism lingered last week—with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp noting “I have yet to hear that, just outside of the reports. I have not confirmed that,”—the latest update sounds like the real deal.
With names like Bayley and other top stars pushing for the return of the all-women’s show, this summer could mark a huge moment for WWE’s women’s division.
