Nia Jax hasn’t been seen on WWE television since her standout appearance at the Elimination Chamber, and fans have been speculating nonstop about where she’s been—and why. A recent report stirred things up even more by claiming she wasn’t medically cleared to compete, but Jax has now responded directly to shut those rumors down.

The original report came from WrestleVotes during a Q&A session on Backstage Pass. They stated that Jax had not yet been cleared for action and was expected to receive medical clearance around March 22. However, the report also admitted that the nature of her situation—whether it was injury-related or something else—remained unclear.

Nia Jax has not been cleared. She was due to be cleared, I believe, two weeks ago. I don’t know if that has happened. Obviously, she’s not been on TV. I don’t know if it was an injury or whatnot; however, I do know that, internally, she has not been cleared for action, which is why she hasn’t been on TV, WrestleVotes claimed.

They continued: I just know that she’s been inactive. She’s been active enough with the anticipation of coming back. I believe it was on March 22nd, but I don’t know why she’s not been cleared.

The speculation went viral, prompting concerned fans to ask questions online. One fan chimed in, claiming they had “the same information” and asked if her hiatus was injury-related. But on April 3, 2025, Nia Jax took matters into her own hands with a public clapback.

She first quote tweeted a post about the report with one word: “False.” Then she followed it up by responding to the fan directly: “lol where is this info coming from? I love that medical info is being shared with randoms. And No.”

So, according to Nia herself, there is no injury, no delay in clearance, and absolutely no truth to the story being passed around.

This isn’t the first time she’s joked about her absence. When fans expressed concern over her missing TV time, Jax previously quipped that she was “busy in catering.” But this time around, she wasn’t joking—she was clearly frustrated by people speculating on private matters without facts.

With WrestleMania 41 just weeks away, her status remains a mystery—but now it’s clear that whatever’s keeping her off TV, it’s not medical.
