WWE RAW at London’s O2 Arena just got way darker—and it’s all thanks to Gunther’s savage assault on Jimmy and Jey Uso that sent the crowd into shock.
After a hard-hitting match that saw Gunther survive a superplex, a frog splash, and a German suplex, the Intercontinental Champion finished Jimmy Uso with a sleeper hold that left him unconscious. But the madness didn’t stop when the bell rang.
Instead of walking away with the win, Gunther came back to reapply the sleeper with body scissors—and that was just the start of the carnage. Jey Uso’s music hit and he rushed the ring, managing to tackle Gunther and send him fleeing into the crowd. But that only delayed the nightmare.
As Jey helped Jimmy to the back, Gunther ambushed both brothers from behind. He sent Jey crashing into the steel steps, powerbombed a security guard onto the ring steps, and tied Jey’s hands to the ropes with a zip tie. Then, in front of the entire arena, Gunther made Jey watch in horror as he smashed a bleeding Jimmy Uso with a title belt and a powerbomb.
“Can you handle the pressure?” Gunther taunted Jey as he rubbed Jimmy’s blood across his own chest and locked in another sleeper, this time turning it into a visual message for what’s to come.
Adam Pearce stormed out and screamed, “What the hell are you doing?” but the damage was already done. Gunther sent a violent, unhinged message that WrestleMania season just got personal.
Are you buying into Gunther’s path of destruction, or did he go too far tonight? Should WWE step in with consequences—or is this exactly the kind of mayhem WrestleMania needs? Drop your reactions in the comments—we want to hear what you think.
