Gimmick Match Confirmed for April 4 WWE SmackDown

It’s official—Jacob Fatu and Braun Strowman are going to war one last time, and this time it’s under one of the most brutal stipulations WWE has to offer.

During the March 28 episode of WWE SmackDown, Jacob Fatu delivered a chilling promise in his backstage segment with Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga, saying he would do whatever it takes until “only one of us is left standing.” Now, he’s going to have the chance to prove it. WWE has announced that Fatu and Strowman will face off in a Last Man Standing Match on the April 4 episode of SmackDown.

“The monsters are being unleashed to wreck havoc on each other,” WWE teased in their official preview. “Braun Strowman will once again go to war against Jacob Fatu in a Last Man Standing Match.” After weeks of chaotic brawls and sneak attacks, these two giants are finally getting a battleground that matches the carnage.

Also confirmed for the show: Naomi will go one-on-one with B-Fab. This comes after Naomi delivered a surprise backstage attack on B-Fab during the March 28 episode. WWE isn’t wasting any time getting them in the ring to settle things.

And if that wasn’t enough action, another name is making headlines—Rey Fenix is officially making his WWE debut on the same episode. Fightful Select previously reported on March 21 that the former AEW and Lucha Underground standout had signed with WWE. Now it’s time to see what he’s bringing to the blue brand.
