Saraya just wrapped up her time in AEW, and now everyone’s asking the same thing: will she go back to WWE—and will they finally clear her to wrestle again?

On her Rulebreakers podcast, Saraya confirmed she’s officially done with All Elite Wrestling. That news alone sparked a ton of fan speculation, and during an appearance on B4 The Bell, she made it clear she’s open to whatever comes next. “I don’t know. Maybe if there’s something cool that comes along and they would want me back there. Maybe. Who knows? Who knows what the future holds? Never say never.”

But if she does go back to WWE, she’s not doing it as Saraya.

“Paige. Paige. Paige,” she repeated when asked how she’d return. “I felt like I could leave that character at the door. I love being Saraya… but with Paige though, I felt like I built such a special thing with her… She was a badass. I loved being her, and she has built my life. I got a movie made about Paige.”

While she’s clearly emotionally tied to the character that launched her into superstardom, the real hurdle could be WWE’s medical clearance. Years ago, they refused to clear her due to serious neck issues, effectively ending her WWE in-ring career. But times have changed—and Saraya’s proven she can go.

Dave Meltzer gave an update in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, saying WWE may no longer be firm on keeping her out of the ring. “Given she wrestled for the past few years, their doctrine of saying they would never clear her as it was a few years back would likely change,” Meltzer noted. He added that while WWE’s current women’s division is stacked, “she does have a name and history, and short-term, a return would be seen as a big thing.”

Translation: WWE might be more open to letting her back in than ever before. And if the pop she’d get is anything like what she felt from fans at her recent signings, it could be worth every second.

She may not have a contract yet, but Saraya’s mindset is clear. If WWE comes calling and they’re willing to clear her, Paige is ready to rise again.

Do you think WWE should medically clear Saraya for a return as Paige? Would you want to see her back in the ring? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
