The March 28 episode of WWE SmackDown went down in the O2 in London, England. That was a big show, and it aired a bit sooner in other parts of the country. Although the show will be live on the USA Network tonight, we have spoilers for you here.

CM Punk will take on Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in a triple threat match at WrestleMania 41. There is a lot of history between those three, and it all came to a head during a contract signing this week.

This segment closed out SmackDown in London. Nick Aldis made it clear that this was the biggest triple threat match in WrestleMania history with CM Punk vs Roman Reigns vs Seth Rollins. That is when Reigns came out to bask in the fans’ acknowledgment. The OTC said that fans singing to him was beautiful, so they did it some more. Then Roman Reigns signed the contract.

Seth Rollins came out next, and fans had even more singing to do. The Visionary spoke about his history with Roman Reigns in the O2 Arena, and fans kept singing Rollins’ song. Rollins then said that he and Reigns completed their mission of moving out the old guard. Reigns didn’t appreciate that, as he believes he is responsible for all the success WWE has seen in recent memory, including the Netflix deal.

Just as things got tense between Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, CM Punk’s music hit, and he made his way out to the ring. Naturally, fans in London sang along with his music as well. As Punk posed on the ring post, fans chanted his name. He announced he was there to chew bubblegum and sign a contract, and he’s all out of bubblegum. As he borrowed Roddy Piper’s famous line from They Live, he then got down and inked the contract.

CM Punk took his time reading the contract as Roman Reigns tried to rush him along. Paul Heyman told CM Punk that he knows what he’s looking for, and it’s in there. He is closing out the night at WrestleMania, getting his Mania main event status. That was also revealed to be the favor that Punk asked Heyman for.

After CM Punk signed the contract, he thanked all of the fans. Seth Rollins wasn’t happy about the fact that Punk will get a Mania main event match, but that is what happened. Roman Reigns wanted credit from Punk for this WrestleMania spot, but that was given from the Second City Saint, but in a very sarcastic way. Before Punk closed out SmackDown, he dropped a bombshell as he said that was not the favor he’s owed. It seems that we still don’t know what the favor will be and how Punk will cash it in with Paul Heyman. Now, we will have to see who gets their hand raised when everything is said and done.
