John Cena might be the one turning heel on WWE television, but it looks like his dad is stealing a bit of that energy in real life.
At a recent independent wrestling event, John Cena Sr. had a fiery encounter with fans who wouldn’t stop pressing him about his son’s next move. Clearly fed up, Cena’s father didn’t hold back — and the footage says it all.
“I’m tired of you and everybody else walking up to me asking me what my son’s gonna do,” Cena Sr. barked. “Why don’t you ask my son what he’s gonna do? And you know what you can do for me? You can pack your little bag, both of you and take a little walk and get your asses out of here.”
The crowd was stunned by the outburst, but if you’ve followed Cena Sr., you know this wasn’t the first time he’s clapped back at fans. He’s previously dodged questions about his son’s heel turn at Elimination Chamber, telling people to “let it play out.”
Meanwhile, John Cena’s storyline on WWE TV is only getting more intense. After turning heel for the first time in nearly two decades, Cena made it clear that he’s going all in at WrestleMania 41. The goal? Beat Cody Rhodes, win his record-breaking 17th world title, and as he put it, “ruin professional wrestling for everyone.”
The elder Cena’s reaction might seem harsh to some, but it’s clear he’s reached his limit. Whether you think fans have the right to ask or not, one thing’s for sure: this heel turn has everyone talking — even outside the ring.
