Maggie Lee is officially a TNA Knockout, but according to a new report, that deal wasn’t as fresh as fans were led to believe.
On March 27, TNA Wrestling confirmed via social media that the 5-foot-11 standout had signed a contract with the company. The announcement had fans talking—Lee has been steadily making a name for herself since October 2024 on TNA Xplosion, and her athletic background, indie resume, and presence have all made her one to watch.
But now we’re learning this wasn’t exactly breaking news behind the scenes.
According to Fightful Select, Maggie Lee’s TNA deal was sealed months ago, not recently. “Despite the news emerging on March 27, we’re told that Maggie Lee was actually signed months ago, sometime after December,” the report stated. That means she’s been part of the Knockouts Division quietly, while fans and insiders speculated about her next move.
Even more interesting? Lee’s signing was credited to Gail Kim and Ariel Sherner—two key figures who are no longer with the company. “She was a signing that Gail Kim and Ariel Sherner had made before they were fired,” Fightful added.
So while the official announcement only dropped this week, Maggie Lee’s TNA status has been locked in for a while. The timing of the reveal, especially with TNA’s upcoming shows in St. Joseph, Missouri, suggests the company may be positioning her for a bigger spotlight.
Lee, a former college volleyball star turned indie wrestler, trained at Seth Rollins’ Black & Brave Academy and has been grinding her way through the scene since 2022. She’s got charisma, power, and just enough personality to stand out—whether she’s lifting weights, rocking hand-labeled “BELLA” shirts from childhood, or reminding fans that she’s “definitely a horse girl, but I’m unfortunately allergic.”
The next big question: will TNA finally push her like the future star she’s shaping up to be?
