It’s champion vs powerhouse, and the title’s on the line.
AEW has officially announced Toni Storm will defend the AEW Women’s World Championship against Megan Bayne at AEW Dynasty on April 6. The announcement was made during the March 23rd episode of AEW Collision Slam Dunk Sunday, following Storm’s challenge days earlier on Dynamite.
Bayne, nicknamed “Megasus,” has been on a dominant run since stepping foot in AEW. Her strength and presence have made her a force in the women’s division—but Storm isn’t backing down. The champion addressed Bayne again on Collision, keeping things classic with a touch of “Timeless” fire.
AEW hyped the match with a message that summed up the showdown perfectly: “Since her debut, @MeganBayne has been unstoppable! Can #AEW Women’s World Champion, Timeless Toni Storm, halt the charging Megasus?”
Storm’s reign has been all about theatrics, drama, and surviving the toughest the division has to offer. Bayne? She’s all power and momentum—and Dynasty could be her moment to crush the champ’s vintage vibe.
AEW Dynasty will air live on pay-per-view and Triller from The Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 6 at 8 PM ET.
