AEW fans expecting their usual Saturday night fix of Collision were thrown into chaos this weekend—and not the kind that usually comes with high spots and chair shots.

A surprise schedule shake-up saw Slam Dunk AEW Collision split in half across Saturday and Sunday for TNT and HBO Max viewers. But for fans watching on Triller’s AEW Plus service, things went from annoying to downright infuriating.

While Tony Khan hyped up the action in real-time on Twitter, Triller subscribers were left confused and frustrated. That’s because the streaming platform chose not to show the show in two parts—opting instead to air the full two-hour version on Sunday at 11 PM EST, leaving fans completely in the dark for the first half of the program.

Tony Khan tweeted on Saturday night: “Right NOW on @TNTdrama + on @StreamOnMax We are starting out Slam Dunk Saturday #AEWCollision with a huge TNT Title Match with guaranteed No Outside Interference, TNT Champion Daniel Garcia vs challenger @AdamColePro on NOW!”

The problem? Triller users weren’t seeing anything—because their version wouldn’t be live until the next day.

That’s when the floodgates opened in the replies.

“I wanted to see it but Triller says it’s available tomorrow, what the hell is going on Tony? 😭😭😭😭😭” one fan wrote.

Another blasted the situation, tweeting, “Well i can’t see the fing thing can i because the cs at triller won’t show it until tomorrow for some reason.”

Others didn’t hold back their criticism of the show itself. “Watching 2 dogs f** on the side of the road is more entertaining than this stupidity,”* one viewer added bluntly.

One fan demanded more attention to presentation, saying, “Do more with Megan Bayne’s entrance and stop being lazy with your production.”

Some fans pointed fingers at AEW’s long-term direction. “TK what are you doing man? You need to take AEW back to where it was when it first began… Go back to 2019—that’s when it was exciting! It is so predictable now!” another posted.

And then there were fans offering unsolicited creative ideas. “Hello Mr. Tony Khan, you don’t know me, I am a big fan of AEW but lately your product has been stale. I have an idea for your tournament for the Owen… you should have a tournament for the women’s and at the end of the AEW Tag Team Championships.”

While some are clearly just venting online, this weekend’s schedule confusion left a lot of AEW diehards feeling ignored and frustrated—especially those who paid for AEW Plus expecting consistent delivery.

Do you think AEW and Triller should’ve done a better job informing fans? Should Tony Khan respond directly to the backlash? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know how you feel.
