Saraya isn’t mincing words about her absence from AEW programming. The former AEW Women’s World Champion has been missing from TV since October 2024, and now she’s explaining why.

Speaking on the B4 The Bell podcast, Saraya admitted that while she still has plenty left in the tank, she doesn’t think AEW has a spot for her on the current roster.

“Yeah, there’s still a lot left in the tank. I just don’t think there’s room for me right now,” Saraya said bluntly. “Everyone in AEW is doing amazing and killing it, and why would they try to squeeze me in right now? I’d rather sit at home than be in catering.”

Her last AEW appearance came during the October 8 episode of Dynamite, when she took part in a 4-Way Women’s World Title Eliminator Match. Since then, she’s kept a low profile while other talent have taken center stage.

With a roster packed with rising stars and standout performances, Saraya seems content watching from the sidelines for now—but her tone also suggested she’s not happy about it. For fans hoping for a sudden return, it looks like it won’t be happening until AEW figures out a meaningful direction for her character.

What do you think—should AEW find a place for Saraya in the current mix, or is she right to step aside? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
