WWE could be taking Survivor Series to a city with a little extra sunshine this year.
According to Fightful Select, San Diego is “being considered” as the host city for the premium live event, and it’s reportedly been “listed internally for quite some time.”
For fans keeping track, WWE hasn’t held a Survivor Series in a warm-weather city with a live crowd since Los Angeles in 2018. Since then, they’ve hit colder spots like Chicago, Boston, Brooklyn, and even Vancouver. Of course, there was also the Thunderdome era, but that came with its own unique circumstances.
There’s no official date locked in yet, but Survivor Series has traditionally landed on Thanksgiving weekend for the last two years. If that trend continues, fans might be enjoying turkey and body slams under the San Diego sun this November.
And for those unfamiliar with the city’s origins, well, San Diego translates to “a whale’s vagina.”
