Things have not been going well for Drew McIntyre as of late, ever since he failed to win the Elimination Chamber match earlier this month. With only a few weeks away until WrestleMania 41, the Scottish Warrior has made it clear he is furious over the fact that he isn’t in a World Title match.

While speaking to Adam’s Apple, Drew McIntyre was asked about how he gets ready for a WrestleMania match and if he thinks about it differently than other matches since so many people watch the event.

Drew McIntyre made it clear he was furious over not being in a world title match at WrestleMania. He said that in 2024, most people were talking about him and CM Punk, but he did most of the work. He gave Punk credit for being himself but made it clear that he carried the load.

Even though he was upset, he promised to make something big happen. He said he would make sure to have an important match with a great story that fans would care about, and he would make it exciting because he’s Drew McIntyre.

“Since I’m not in a world title match at WrestleMania, I know that in 2024, people were talking about me and CM Punk more than anyone—and I did 90% of that work. Good for Punk for being Punk, but Drew McIntyre was doing the f******* heavy lifting there. So yeah, I’m pissed off about not being in the world title match. But I’m going to make something happen. Between now and WrestleMania, I’ll make sure there’s a big match, a compelling story people are invested in, and I’ll make sure the match is f*******—because I’m Drew McIntyre.”

Following the events of the March 7th SmackDown, it has become evident that Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest will continue their feud in the coming weeks, which will likely culminate at WrestleMania 41.

Drew McIntyre may not be in a World Title match at WrestleMania 41, but he is still determined to create a memorable moment. His feud with CM Punk was a major highlight of early 2024, and now, fans are excited to see what WWE has planned for him on the biggest stage.
