NXT’s Carlee Bright is officially tonsil-free after undergoing her first-ever surgery. The rising WWE star took to X to update fans, revealing that she had her tonsils removed and is now on the road to recovery.

“Tonsil free!! First time having surgery yesterday, and I’m so grateful it went so smooth. Have a little bit of a road to recovery ahead, but here’s to popsicles & ice cream 🍦😋 check back in soon! ~xoxo #tonsillectomy #seeyanevertonsils,” Bright wrote.

Bright, who joined WWE in 2023, has been making waves in NXT, competing on Level Up, house shows, and making appearances on NXT TV in 2024. She’s also been expanding her in-ring experience outside of WWE, working with TNA Wrestling and Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling promotion. Most recently, she was featured on the debut episode of WWE EVOLVE on Tubi.

With her surgery behind her, Bright is looking ahead to a smooth recovery before making her return to the ring.
