Kid Kash is stepping back into the ring after an eight-year retirement, and the ECW original isn’t looking back.

The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion confirmed on Twitter/X that after years of battling injuries, undergoing surgeries, and rehabbing his body, he’s officially accepting bookings again.

Kash, real name David Tyler Cash, originally retired in 2017 due to a string of injuries that took a serious toll on his body. Now, after going through multiple replacement surgeries and extensive rehabilitation, he’s making a full-fledged return.

“I retired in 2017 due to mounting injuries and reoccurring fast injuries that at that point just needed to be treated, healed, and rehabbed. Over the years, I’ve had the replacement surgeries and rehabbed that my body desperately needed. I’m announcing that I am now accepting bookings,” Kash wrote.

A staple of ECW’s extreme era, Kash built his reputation as a high-flying, hard-hitting competitor who didn’t back down from anything—including wrestling with a wired-shut broken jaw. His career saw him capture multiple championships across major promotions, including:

  • ECW World Television Championship
  • WWE Cruiserweight Championship
  • TNA X Division Championship
  • NWA World Tag Team Championship (with Lance Archer, then known as Dallas)

After his time in pro wrestling, Kash even stepped into the MMA cage, making his debut in 2016 before officially stepping away from the squared circle.

Now, with the veteran back in action, the question is—where will he show up first?
