Lex Luger is officially heading to the WWE Hall of Fame.

Triple H took to Twitter on March 7, 2025, to personally break the news, writing, “@GenuineLexLuger has overcome challenges his whole career. Not only a champion in WCW and an incredible @WWE Superstar, but he has overcome challenges in life that are truly inspirational. He will now take his place as a member of the 2025 #WWEHOF.”

Luger’s legacy in professional wrestling is undeniable. From his days as The Total Package in WCW to his shocking WWE debut on the USS Intrepid, where he bodyslammed Yokozuna in one of the most iconic moments in wrestling history, Luger’s impact on the industry is still talked about decades later. His career saw him capture multiple championships, including the WCW World Heavyweight Title, and become one of the top stars of the ‘90s.

Beyond the ring, Luger’s journey has been one of resilience. After suffering a spinal stroke in 2007 that left him partially paralyzed, he has battled through adversity, becoming an inspirational figure for fans and fellow wrestlers alike. His induction is not just about his in-ring accomplishments—it’s about everything he’s overcome.

Luger now joins a growing 2025 Hall of Fame class that already includes Triple H, Michelle McCool and, reportedly, legendary tag team The Natural Disasters, Earthquake and Typhoon are next in line. With WWE still finalizing the details of the ceremony, there’s a possibility it could move to Thursday night instead of the traditional Friday slot after SmackDown to fit into WrestleMania weekend more smoothly.

Lex Luger’s Hall of Fame induction is long overdue, but now it’s official.
