The WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event ended in the most shocking way imaginable as John Cena turned heel and aligned himself with The Rock, truly selling his soul to The Final Boss. Following this dramatic heel turn, Cena has now earned a new Guinness World Record.
According to the Guinness World Records website, John Cena’s impact on WWE has been further recognized with a remarkable achievement. He now holds the record for the longest WWE face run before turning heel, showing the incredible length of his run as the company’s top babyface.
The former Leader of Cenation was a babyface from 2004 all the way to March 1st, 2025. Naturally, no one could have ever imagined John Cena would become a heel, but now fans just have to accept the reality.
John Cena won the Elimination Chamber match and will be challenging Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41, but lots of fans aren’t afraid of calling out Cena for being a hypocrite.
John Cena is set to make his return to WWE television on the March 17th edition of Monday Night RAW in Brussels, so it’s still some time before he comes back, and we’ll have to see how WWE will book Cena once he makes his presence felt once again.
