The March 4 episode of WWE NXT took a dramatic turn when Cora Jade suffered an apparent knee injury, forcing officials to stop her match against Jordynne Grace. But now, Grace is pushing back against a viral claim about what Jade actually said during the moment.
A fan on Twitter posted footage of Jade in the corner, speaking to the referee after slipping on the rope. The tweet read: “I read Cora Jade’s lips, and she says ‘My knee. It’s fcked up.’ OMG, man… Please don’t let it be serious. 🙏🙏 #WWENXT”*
Grace wasted no time responding, shutting down the speculation with a simple reply: “She did NOT say that.”
While the extent of Jade’s injury remains unknown, fans have been on edge due to her history of ACL issues. Before her rise in NXT, Jade suffered a torn ACL that kept her sidelined for months, making this latest scare even more concerning.
With NXT Roadblock and her TNA Knockouts Title match against Masha Slamovich coming up, Jade’s status remains a major question mark.
