The WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event ended in the most shocking way possible, as John Cena turned heel and aligned himself with The Rock, selling his soul in the process. Naturally, fans wondered whether Cena would make an appearance on WWE programming right after Elimination Chamber and now his immediate future has been revealed.

During the Elimination Chamber post-show, The Rock talked about John Cena’s heel turn and what it meant. The Final Boss revealed that Cena had traveled a long distance just to be there for Elimination Chamber.

The Rock noted that Cena flew in from Budapest in the morning and was already on his way to Africa, saying, “He flew in today, this morning, from Budapest. He’s flying out right now to Africa, to continue.”

So far in his retirement tour year, John Cena has appeared only three times: the Raw on Netflix premiere on January 6, the Royal Rumble on February 2, and Elimination Chamber on March 1. He has been in Budapest, Hungary, filming the movie Matchbox, and now he’s going back to Africa to shoot another movie.
