Trish Stratus is widely recognized as one of the greatest female wrestlers of all time, thanks to her major contributions to women’s wrestling. Her impact on the industry is undeniable, and she is now set to be inducted into the International Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame Class of 2025.
According to PWInsider, Trish Stratus is set to be inducted into the International Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame Class of 2025. This honor highlights her 25-year career and solidifies her legacy as one of wrestling’s most influential figures.
Trish Stratus made it clear she is excited about this honor. She said wrestling has been her passion and a way to inspire others. She believes this award is not just for her but for all women who have broken barriers in wrestling. She is proud to share this moment with them and calls it a true “Stratusfaction.”
“Wrestling has been my passion, my purpose, and most importantly my platform to inspire and empower”, says Stratus, “to be recognized by the International Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame means so much to be because it is not just a reflection of my journey, but of every woman who dared to break barriers and redefine what we’re capable of. I share this honor with them. Stratusfaction, accomplished!”
The induction ceremony will take place on October 12, 2025, where Stratus will join a prestigious list of past inductees, including Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Kurt Angle. The IPWHF, based at the MVP Arena in Albany, NY, was created to preserve and honor the history of professional wrestling worldwide while celebrating athletes from diverse backgrounds.
Trish Stratus was inducted into the Richmond Hill Sports Hall of Fame earlier this year as well. In the meantime, Stratus will be teaming up with Tiffany Stratton and square off against Nia Jax and Candice LeRae at the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event on March 1st, so we’ll have to wait and see how Stratus will fare in the bout.
