The phrase “never say never” is common in professional wrestling because you never know when a wrestler might return. That’s why it’s not surprising that former WWE star Ezekiel Jackson has confirmed he will be stepping back into the ring after nine years.

Ezekiel Jackson uploaded a video on his YouTube channel, revealing his return to wrestling after nine years. He stated he is excited to return and that his first match will be at FWE in North Carolina on March 15th.

“Hey guys, what’s up? Day one of the vlog! I’ll be doing a few of these leading up to my first match back in a few years. I’m scheduled to be at FWE in North Carolina on March 15th.”

Jackson stated that he didn’t finish his career the way he wanted, so he always felt like he had more to do. There are still wrestlers he wants to face, and he is working on making those matches happen. He also said he is open to more bookings.

Even though he is still in good shape, he knows he needs to train for the ring again. He has started doing more cardio workouts, including rowing, and will be training in the ring over the next few weeks.

“I keep asking myself if I ended my career the way I wanted to, and for the most part, I didn’t. So, I’ve always had that little chip on my shoulder, wanting to finish things on my terms. I’ve also had a bucket list of people I’d love to compete against, so we’re looking into scheduling a few things.

I am accepting bookings, and this should be fun. I’m still big as hell, so I’m not worried about that. I do need to get into ring shape, though, so today started that journey. I’m adding more cardio-based workouts, incorporating some rowing, and I’ll be getting in the ring a few times this week and in the coming weeks.”

Jackson expressed his excitement about returning to the sport he has loved since childhood. Having traveled the world and faced incredible talent, he is excited to compete against some of the wrestlers still active today.

With 2025 here, Jackson made it clear he is ready to have fun and enjoy the journey. Fans who have never seen him wrestle will soon get to see what the “personification of domination” is all about.

“This is going to be a fun journey. I’m excited to see how it all plays out. I’m looking forward to doing what I love—I’ve always loved professional wrestling. I’ve been a fan since I was eight years old, traveled the world, and faced a lot of amazing people. There are still some people out there I’d love to compete against.

So, here we are—New Year, 2025. I’m ready for this, ready to have some fun. A few people are about to see what the personification of domination is all about, and some of them have never seen it before!”

Jackson’s upcoming match will mark his first bout in nine years since his last in-ring appearance was on October 18, 2015, for Westside Xtreme Wrestling in Germany. Therefore, we will have to wait and see how Jackson will fare in his in-ring return as fans are excited for his comeback after so long.
