The details behind WWE and TNA Wrestling’s blockbuster partnership are finally coming into focus, and it turns out this alliance is built for the long haul.
Former WWE Superstar Fandango—now going by JDC—let the details slip during an appearance at the For The Love Of Wrestling convention, revealing that “TNA has a working agreement, a three-year deal with NXT and WWE.” That means this unprecedented crossover between WWE and TNA is locked in through at least 2028.
The partnership was first announced on January 16, 2025, following months of collaboration between the two companies throughout 2024. From Jordynne Grace’s NXT appearances to recent crossovers involving TNA iMPACT and WWE NXT, the working relationship has already given fans plenty to talk about—and it’s just getting started.
The latest sign of this crossover came on the February 20 episode of iMPACT, where NXT Champion Oba Femi showed up and confronted X-Division Champion Moose, adding even more intrigue to the brewing battle between TNA and WWE talent. On the same show, Cora Jade made her presence felt in a big way, ambushing TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich ahead of their TNA Sacrifice title match on March 14.
For JDC, stepping back into a WWE ring has been a surreal experience after spending over 15 years in the company before his 2021 release. “Being out of WWE for four years, to go back… it feels like everything’s just kind of the same where you left it. The machine just keeps rolling on.”
With stars from both promotions clashing across brands and this deal running for at least three more years, the WWE-TNA alliance is only going to grow from here.
