Jacob Fatu has been booked as a force of nature ever since he debuted in WWE last year, but his Road to WrestleMania 41 hasn’t really gone the way he would have hoped so far. With that said, WWE’s plans for The Samoan Werewolf at WrestleMania 41 have been revealed.
While speaking during a recent episode of Live Q&A on Backstage Pass, WrestleVotes noted that Solo Sikoa will face his cousin Jacob Fatu at WWE WrestleMania 41. While there was speculation that Solo would wrestle Roman Reigns, WWE now seems to be planning a match between Solo and Jacob Fatu at the Showcase of The Immortals.
“I do know they’re gearing up towards Jacob versus Solo. So, you know, after months of speculation that Solo was going to wrestle Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, they shift that to Jacob Fatu, and we’ll see how it plays out. But I do believe that’s the direction.”
This comes after Jacob Fatu was unable to qualify for the Elimination Chamber on SmackDown last week, despite Solo Sikoa’s interference. On top of that, he had a tense backstage confrontation with Solo Sikoa, making it clear things are not well between the two right now.
Jacob Fatu never fails to proclaim his love for Solo Sikoa and he has always followed Sikoa’s lead no matter what, as part of the new Bloodline. However, things are slowly changing between them and fans have definitely noticed that as well.
WrestleMania 41 is set for April 19 and 20, 2025, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, and it’s already shaping up to be a historic event. With WWE building toward a match between Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa, fans are eager to see how the company will develop their storyline in the coming weeks.
