AEW’s first major pay-per-view was Double or Nothing back in 2019 and since then, the event has always been seen as one of the company’s best shows and it always took place in Las Vegas. However, it appears the location for this year’s Double or Nothing might have been leaked.
An article from The Arizona Republic indicated that this year’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view would be held at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, on May 25, 2025 as it read, “All Elite Wrestling, or AEW, is in town Wednesday night and will return on May 25 for its ‘Double or Nothing’ pay-per-view.”
However, this article has since been removed, leading fans to wonder whether they accidentally spoiled the venue for Double or Nothing. At the time of writing, AEW has not confirmed the location for this year’s Double or Nothing event.
Sean Ross Sapp previously reported that Double or Nothing 2025 was not planned for Las Vegas. He wasn’t sure if it would still happen on Memorial Day weekend but confirmed AEW had no plans for Las Vegas at that time.
“As of the last I had heard, AEW Double or Nothing was not planned for Las Vegas. I don’t know about Memorial Day weekend, but the last I had asked, which was quite a while back, Double or Nothing was not planned for Las Vegas that weekend.”
If AEW Double or Nothing happens in Glendale, it would be the first time the event is held outside of Las Vegas. Since AEW’s early days, Double or Nothing has always taken place in Sin City, either at the MGM Grand Garden Arena or T-Mobile Arena.
Since AEW hasn’t made an official announcement, fans are still waiting for confirmation on where Double or Nothing 2025 will take place. If the event does move to Glendale, it could mark a big change in AEW’s annual pay-per-view schedule. Therefore, we will have to wait and see whether AEW will announce the venue for Double or Nothing 2025 soon enough.
