It looks like AEW’s Grand Slam: Australia is ready to go, and now fans are getting their first look at the venue just hours before the event kicks off.
Photos from inside the Brisbane Entertainment Centre have surfaced, giving a glimpse of the setup for AEW’s first-ever show in Australia.
The images show a massive stage with vibrant green and gold branding, proudly displaying “AEW Grand Slam: Australia” on the LED boards. The entrance ramp is lined with barricades leading straight to the ring, setting the stage for what AEW has been billing as “the biggest Collision of all time.”
The arena itself is arranged with tiered seating and rows of chairs surrounding the ring, with a clear effort made to bring a premium look despite the downsized venue. Overhead, the AEW Jumbotron is in place, lighting rigs are set, and production teams are making final adjustments. The setup delivers a more intimate feel compared to the originally planned Suncorp Stadium, but AEW has clearly gone all-in on the presentation.
The first images have already sparked discussions among fans, with some excited about the visual appeal, while others continue to debate AEW’s handling of the event’s promotion. Whether the company can deliver a show that makes up for the last-minute changes remains to be seen.
