AEW-ROH Global Wars Results (2/15/25): Live Match Updates

The Brisbane Entertainment Centre is completely sold out, and the crowd is absolutely deafening.

ROH Tag Team Championship Match: Dustin Rhodes & Sammy Guevara (c) vs. MxM Collection (Mason Madden & Mansoor)

The crowd erupts as Jericho and his crew make their entrance, and there’s a massive pop when Bandido and Jericho square off at the bell.

The Outrunners, wearing masks in respect to Bandido, are introduced as Los Outrunners, earning a big Bandido chant from the audience. The crowd absolutely loses it when Big Bill tags in, with chants filling the arena as he demolishes one of the Outrunners with some brutal chops. The energy is wild throughout the match.

In a surprising turn, Bandido pins Jericho clean with a suplex! Following the match, The Learning Tree attacks everyone, and Jericho uses a chair to dish out punishment. However, Powerhouse Hobbs makes an unexpected appearance, chasing off Jericho’s crew. Jericho tries to hit Hobbs from behind with the chair, but it has zero effect. Hobbs takes control, throwing Jericho around, but Big Bill steps into the ring to confront him. Hobbs looks ready to fight, but Big Bill retreats back out. The crowd gives a huge ovation to Bandido and The Outrunners as they recover.

ROH Pure Championship Match: Lee Moriarty vs. Robbie Eagles

Lee Moriarty vs. New Japan’s Robbie Eagles was up next, and the crowd immediately booed when the rules were explained, especially when it was mentioned that a disqualification would follow if a closed fist was used after a warning. The crowd found it amusing. Being an Aussie, Robbie Eagles received a huge pop, with the audience fully behind him.

The match delivered solid action, with Eagles being the first to use up all of his rope breaks. In the end, Moriarty picked up the win, and they adhered to the old Code of Honor after the match. Eagles received a big round of applause as he made his exit, showing respect for the crowd and the match.

Mark Davis vs. Tommy Knight

The crowd went wild when Davis was introduced as being from Australia. Knight, a regular in PWA and MCW, also got a good reaction. There was no Don Callis with Davis for this match. The crowd stayed excited throughout. Knight got a big reaction after hitting a DVDR. The match was full of heavy punches, strikes, and forearms, with the crowd chanting “MEAT” as they connected. In the end, Davis picked up the win.

ROH Tag Team Championship Match: Dustin Rhodes & Sammy Guevara (c) vs. MxM Collection (Mason Madden & Mansoor)

The crowd was pumped for the Champions’ entrances, especially when Rhodes avoided a move from Mansoor. Guevara’s moves also got great reactions from the fans.

The crowd was really into the match, showing their excitement throughout. Dustin got a huge pop when he teased a dive, then pulled off a Spinaroonie to distract the challengers, allowing Guevara to dive off the top to the floor. MxM nearly pinned Sammy after a huge Mace Black Hole Slam, but Dustin rushed in at the last second to make the save. Guevara secured the pinfall after hitting a swanton on Mace.

It was announced that Momo Watanabe from STARDOM is in attendance.

ROH Women’s Championship Match: Athena (c) vs. Alex Windsor

It was a very back-and-forth, athletic match. Athena tried to dominate Windsor early, but Windsor wasn’t backing down. Athena went for the O-Face from the top, but Windsor caught her and slammed her back into the ring. Windsor then hit several headbutts while setting Athena up for a spinning DDT off the ropes, which she successfully executed for a near fall.

The crowd was fully behind Windsor, clapping and rallying for her. Athena countered with a DDT after avoiding a spinning clothesline. Athena then hit a perfect O-Face and secured the pinfall.
