WWE’s newest brand, EVOLVE, isn’t just bringing in fresh talent—it’s adding a brand-new championship to the mix.
According to PWInsider, the WWE EVOLVE Championship has already been created and will make its official debut at the next round of tapings on February 21 at the WWE Performance Center. This follows the first round of EVOLVE tapings that took place earlier this month in front of a select audience of invited guests.
The new championship adds a major competitive element to WWE EVOLVE, which is set to premiere on March 8 on Tubi, going head-to-head with AEW Dynamite every Wednesday at 8 PM ET. While the U.S. broadcast is locked in, international airings have yet to be confirmed.
The WWE EVOLVE roster will be a mix of NXT’s developmental stars and independent wrestlers brought in through WWE’s ID program. Gabe Sapolsky, who originally founded EVOLVE, is leading the creative direction of the show, adding another layer of authenticity to its branding.
The original EVOLVE Championship saw legendary names hold the gold, including Drew McIntyre, Swerve Strickland, Zack Sabre Jr., and Chris Hero. With this new era, the question now is—who will be crowned the first-ever WWE EVOLVE Champion?
