Malakai Black Removed from AEW Roster Page Amid WWE Return Rumors

Malakai Black has been an important part of AEW for over three years, mainly as a member of The House of Black. However, reports note that Black will be leaving AEW and now it appears he has been removed from AEW’s official roster page, while rumors of his WWE return continue to grow.

If one visits AEW’s official roster page, one will find that Malakai Black’s name is missing from the “M” section of the roster, as fans are now convinced his time with AEW has come to an end and his future will continue to be a huge topic of discussion.

It was previously reported that Malakai Black fought against AEW extending his contract by adding extra time for injuries, as he had already missed a lot of time due to them. However, they either reached a deal or were close to one, which would have allowed him to become a free agent soon.

It is also to be noted that Malakai Black has been absent from AEW television since the Full Gear pay-per-view in November, and reports indicated that he could become a free agent by February or March 2025. 

According to PWTorch, WWE has already mentioned Malakai Black in creative meetings as recently as last month and this suggests the company is planning for his return. With Triple H in charge, many believe Black could finally get the big opportunity he didn’t receive during his first WWE run. Therefore, we’ll have to see if Black will find success upon his WWE comeback this time around.
