It’s official—Elektra Lopez is no longer with WWE. After speculation over her quiet removal from the company’s active roster, PWInsider has confirmed that Lopez was part of WWE’s latest round of releases on Friday evening.

Lopez, real name Karissa Rivera, was introduced to the WWE audience in NXT as the powerhouse enforcer of Legado del Fantasma, alongside Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, and Raul Mendoza. Her commanding presence and aggressive style made her an instant standout in the faction.

However, when Legado del Fantasma moved to SmackDown, Lopez was left behind in NXT, a decision that surprised many fans. She briefly returned to the main roster, but her role was never as prominent as it was in NXT. In recent months, she was primarily competing on NXT and making appearances on the main roster however, creative plans for her had stalled.

Lopez now joins a growing list of recent WWE cuts, including:

  • Sonya Deville

With WrestleMania 41 approaching and a wave of NXT call-ups expected post-Mania, WWE appears to be making room for fresh talent. But as always, this raises questions about who else could be next.
