Internal Reaction to Nikki Bella’s WWE Return Revealed

The 2025 Royal Rumble kicked off with the Women’s Royal Rumble match and one of the biggest surprises was Nikki Bella making her in-ring return during the bout. She was ultimately eliminated by Nia Jax and now the backstage reaction to her return has been revealed.

While speaking on a recent episode of Live Q&A on Backstage Pass, WrestleVotes revealed that the company is very happy to have Nikki Bella back. They mentioned that Nikki’s presence on WWE Shop has been significant, with strong numbers since her return. Her reaction to the return was positive, and her performance was well-received. Both Nikki and her sister became legitimate stars in WWE.

They added that if Nikki Bella is willing to wrestle full-time, the company is open to that and is supportive of her choosing opponents like Bayley, Liv Morgan, or others she may have missed facing the first time around.

“Yeah, I could say that her numbers being back on WWE Shop have been significant so far. So everybody’s thrilled with that. Her reaction in general was great. I thought her performance was fine. You know, she and her sister became legitimate stars. So I would say if she’s willing to, you know, wrestle as much as it takes to be back full time, the company would let her do that. And if there are certain women that she wants to mix it up with, you know, let her have her choice of Bayley, Liv Morgan, maybe people she missed the first time around.”

Nikki Bella has already hinted at squaring off against the likes of Liv Morgan and Charlotte Flair, with whom she has a lot of unfinished business while also mentioning a future feud with Bayley and Chelsea Green.

“There are parts of me that have unfinished business, long business, with Charlotte Flair, but also Liv Morgan,” she admitted. “I’ve never caused chaos to Bayley, that’s someone I’ve really been loving. I kind of want to kick her off her high horse… and Chelsea Green too.”
