NXT’s February 4 episode was full of surprises, but the biggest shock of the night came when Fandango made his long-awaited return to WWE. The former Breezango star, now known as JDC in TNA Wrestling, appeared during Heritage Cup Champion Lexis King’s segment, leading to a title match being set for next week’s show.

Fandango’s return was unexpected, but it fits right into NXT’s growing partnership with TNA Wrestling. With crossover appearances becoming more frequent, Dango is now the latest name to show up in WWE as part of the ongoing talent exchange.

This marks the first time Fandango has been seen in NXT since 2021, when he was released alongside longtime tag partner Tyler Breeze. The duo, known for their hilarious Fashion Files segments on the main roster, had built a cult following before their departure. Now, with Dango officially back in the mix, fans are already speculating about a Breezango reunion—but Breeze is making moves behind the scenes instead of in the ring.

While Fandango is stepping back into the ring, Tyler Breeze is making waves backstage. During a WWE Fanatics Live auction alongside Big E, Breeze casually dropped the bombshell that he’s now working on the NXT creative team.

Big E initially questioned whether Breeze’s new role was public knowledge, and Breeze confirmed that he’s been keeping it quiet. “I’m not forbidden to talk about it, I just haven’t,” he admitted, revealing that he’s officially helping shape the future of WWE NXT from behind the scenes.

Breeze, who co-runs Flatbacks Wrestling School with Shawn Spears, has been involved in training upcoming talent, so his role in NXT creative could extend beyond just writing—it’s likely he’s also working with talent development.

With Breeze crafting the future of NXT behind the scenes and Fandango making an on-screen return, the question now is—could we see a full-fledged Breezango reunion at some point? Or will Breeze stay put in his backstage role while Fandango makes his mark in this new NXT-TNA crossover era?

What do you think of Fandango’s return and Breeze’s new creative role? Could this be the start of something even bigger for both men? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
