Alexa Bliss isn’t just back—she’s here to stay. After making her shocking return as the 21st entrant in the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble, Bliss has signed a brand-new five-year deal with WWE, ensuring she’ll be a major part of the company’s future.

WWE and Bliss finalized the contract on Saturday morning, just hours before the Royal Rumble. According to Fightful Select, the deal was negotiated through Paragon Talent’s Mojo and Steve Kaye, with WWE flying Bliss into Indianapolis the same day to keep everything top secret. Even the talent involved in the match didn’t know she was coming back until she showed up at the arena.

WWE had been looking to bring Bliss back for months, and they were already preparing for her return behind the scenes. Merchandise for the former champion had been in production weeks before the Rumble, a sign that plans were in motion long before her return became public knowledge.

Bliss had previously been under contract, but her deal was extended due to absences, including maternity leave. While WWE originally wanted her to fulfill the remainder of her existing contract—since they had been paying her throughout her time away—Bliss and her reps pushed for a new deal, and they got it. Even if no agreement had been reached, WWE still had time left on her old deal, meaning her return was inevitable one way or another.

Her return did come with a bit of controversy, as Shotzi was originally slotted for Bliss’ spot in the Royal Rumble before WWE made a last-minute switch. While there’s no bad blood, some within the company felt bad that Shotzi’s long-awaited return was scrapped in favor of Bliss.

Now that she’s officially back on the Raw roster, all eyes are on what’s next for Bliss. With Rhea Ripley still running the division as Women’s World Champion, many believe Bliss could be gunning for The Eradicator. Others have pointed out that Liv Morgan eliminated Bliss from the Rumble, which could lead to a feud between the two if WWE decides to go in that direction.

Whatever happens next, one thing is clear—Alexa Bliss is back in WWE and locked in for the long haul. What do you think WWE should do with Bliss moving forward? Should she go after Rhea Ripley, settle things with Liv Morgan, or carve out an entirely new path? Drop your thoughts below!
