Just hours before the WWE Royal Rumble, it looks like Angelo Dawkins is dealing with a serious injury.

According to PWInsider, Dawkins was seen on crutches this morning, confirming that he is hurt. However, details on the exact nature of his injury remain unclear.

This comes after recent reports that The Street Profits were sidelined due to re-aggravated injuries, leading Nick Aldis to announce their absence for the foreseeable future. While WWE never specified which member was dealing with the injury, Dawkins being spotted on crutches now confirms he is the one affected.

The injury couldn’t have come at a worse time for Dawkins and Montez Ford, as the team was gaining momentum in WWE’s tag team division. Their last televised match was a win over Los Garza (Angel & Berto) on December 27, and they also competed in a four-way tag team match during WWE’s Live Holiday Tour, which may have contributed to the setback.

With The Street Profits out, the tag division is already adjusting. DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) are now stepping up to defend their WWE Tag Team Titles against Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) in what promises to be a hard-hitting showdown.

For now, fans will have to wait for further updates on Dawkins’ condition and how long The Street Profits might be out of action. Ringside News will continue to keep you updated as information becomes available.
