Samantha Irvin left WWE suddenly before an episode of Monday Night RAW back in October, surprising many fans. She said she never really liked announcing in WWE, due to which she received a lot of backlash. However, it appears she had to deny false rumors again, as some people claimed she left after giving WWE an ultimatum to be the next Paul Heyman.
A fan took to Twitter and claimed that Ricochet disclosed Samantha Irvin wanted to become the female version of Paul Heyman and since WWE only wanted her to be a ring announcer, she left the moment she got a chance.
“Ricochet has disclosed that #SamanthaIrvin wanted to become the female version of #PaulHeyman, but #WWE only wanted her as a ring announcer. Thus, Samantha Irvin quit WWE the moment she got a chance.”
Samantha Irvin saw the fan’s comment and laughed at how many people were making it seem like she gave WWE an ultimatum, demanding to be the next Paul Heyman or she would quit. She jokingly responded by highlighting the exaggeration, saying, “The comments!!!! ‘Make me Paul Heyman, or I quit!’ WTF.”
A fan responded to Samantha Irvin, saying that WWE should start developing the next generation’s version of Paul Heyman. They acknowledged that the manager role might feel outdated but believed it still works well in certain storylines. The fan also shared their opinion that Irvin would have been a great fit for that role.
“I’m ngl they really should start creating the next generation’s Paul Heyman. I know the manager is admittedly a dated cliche role but I still think it works excellently in some storylines. You would have been a great fit as one in my opinion.”
Samantha Irvin then stated that aiming for such a role is a great goal because it requires dedication and a deep understanding of the business. She added that people with limited vision wouldn’t understand the effort it takes. However, she made it clear that she never said anything like that to Triple H.
“It’s a beautiful goal tbh and what it really means is: I wanna put time in to learn every single thing. Limited believers could never understand. But regardless I never said that shit to HHH 🤣🤣🤣”
Irvin’s decision to leave WWE had been something she’d been thinking about for a long time, as she now wants to focus on her music career. In fact, she has also started filming for the second season of “Churchy,” so she has a lot of things to focus on at the moment. After all, she already confirmed she has no intention of ever returning as an announcer again, so it remains to be seen whether she will be involved in the wrestling world in another role somewhere down the line.
