Booker T Blasts Corey Graves for Taking WWE Business to Twitter

Corey Graves may have put the speculation about his WWE future to rest, but not everyone is thrilled with how he handled it—just ask Booker T.

During a recent episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T didn’t hold back when addressing Graves’ social media venting, making it clear he wasn’t a fan of how things played out.

“Certain things, I don’t know, shouldn’t be in the Twittersphere, just because I don’t think it’s their business, especially when it comes to your jobs,” Booker T said. “Everybody wants to put their lives on Twitter with their followers and everybody to be a part of their lives. I don’t know, I don’t get that part right there.”

It didn’t stop there. Booker T admitted that while he hasn’t confronted Graves directly, there might come a time when he does. “We’re not cool, not cool at all—I didn’t like the tweet. I didn’t tell him I didn’t like it, but I’m sure there perhaps will come a time when I might say it.”

Graves recently returned to NXT commentary after missing a week of TV, and while his WWE contract keeps him locked in for at least two more years, the tension with Booker T could make things interesting behind the scenes.

At the end of the day, Corey Graves might have squashed the rumors about his WWE future, but he’s clearly still ruffling feathers—especially with Booker T. Whether this turns into a full-blown confrontation or just stays as some behind-the-scenes tension, one thing is certain: Graves’ return to NXT isn’t coming without drama.
