LA Knight might be riding high in WWE, but his time in TNA Wrestling (formerly IMPACT) still holds a special place in his career. And now, with WWE and TNA officially working together, fans are wondering—could LA Knight make a shocking return to finish what he started?

Speaking on Casual Conversations with the Classic, Knight was asked about the WWE-TNA partnership and whether he’d ever consider stepping back into his old stomping grounds. While he didn’t confirm anything, he didn’t entirely rule it out either.

“I mean, I don’t know of any plans to do so. I guess never say never. At the same time, my thoughts are it’s about five years too late,” Knight said. “It should have happened when I was there. Then we could have done crossover stuff.”

While reflecting on his TNA World Championship reign, Knight realized he’s just one title away from achieving Grand Slam Champion status in the promotion. He’s already held the TNA World Championship, World Tag Team Championship (with Scott Steiner), and the King of the Mountain Championship. The only thing missing? The X-Division Championship.

“When you ask about it now, you’re talking about this partnership, I’m only one title short of a triple crown there. So if I can get back in there and get that X-Division Title,” Knight laughed. “I’m sorry, I was a triple crown. Wait a minute. I was King of the Mountain, I was World Champion, and Tag Team Champion with Scott Steiner. So I guess I could be a Grand Slam Champion if I go. Grand Slam is what I’m talking about.”

LA Knight’s got the world talking with his playful tease about a potential TNA return, but will it actually happen? With WWE’s new partnership with TNA opening doors for crossover appearances, the idea of LA Knight stepping back into the Impact Zone to claim Grand Slam status isn’t as far-fetched as it once was. Whether WWE gives him the green light or not, one thing’s for sure—wherever Knight goes, the spotlight follows.
