Jonathan Gresham is officially a free agent, but does that mean he’s following his wife, Jordynne Grace, to WWE? That’s the big question fans are asking after Grace signed a multi-year deal with WWE, marking the next step in her already dominant wrestling career.
Gresham’s contract with TNA Wrestling expired on January 18, and as of now, he hasn’t made any public moves toward signing with another promotion. During an appearance on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Grace confirmed her husband’s free-agent status, saying, “His contract was up yesterday, so I think he has a few conversations to have.”
Naturally, speculation began swirling about whether WWE would bring in Gresham to reunite with Grace. But when asked about it during the Q&A section of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer didn’t have much of an update. “I haven’t heard anything. I mean, I don’t know. I haven’t heard anything.”
Gresham last wrestled for TNA on December 14, teaming up with Eric Young and Steve Maclin in a six-man tag match against The System. With his contract now expired, he’s free to negotiate with any promotion—including WWE. But whether or not he ends up under the same roof as Grace remains to be seen.
Jonathan Gresham’s next move is still up in the air, but with Jordynne Grace already making waves in WWE, the speculation isn’t slowing down. Will WWE make a play for one of wrestling’s top technical stars, or will Gresham take his talents elsewhere?
With his contract officially up, the door is wide open for his next chapter. Where do you think Gresham should land? Drop your thoughts below!
