Drew McIntyre isn’t holding back when it comes to Roman Reigns. The Scottish Warrior has been on a tear lately, calling out everyone from CM Punk to Seth Rollins, but now he’s setting his sights on The Tribal Chief—and he’s not mincing words.

In a recent interview with The Scottish Sun Sport, McIntyre blasted Reigns for disappearing after WrestleMania 40, leaving WWE behind while the rest of the roster carried the weight. He didn’t just criticize Reigns—he made it clear that he’s the one who will have to take him down if nobody else steps up.

“Roman comes back, takes a vacation, drinks some margaritas, gets some abs, and doesn’t apologize,” McIntyre said. “And everybody cheers and goes, ‘Oh, he’s a man, he’s back, he’s great, he’s our guy again.’ Yeah, he’s cool, but the reality is he’s the same guy who disappeared after WrestleMania.”

McIntyre’s frustration isn’t just about Reigns leaving—it’s about the hypocrisy of the WWE locker room. While some, like Kevin Owens, are standing their ground, McIntyre called out Seth Rollins for always putting himself first.

“Kevin Owens seems to be saying the right stuff and on the right path,” McIntyre continued. “But then you’ve got a Seth Rollins—who’s just a hypocrite—always doing what’s more important for him at the moment instead of what’s best for the company.”

But for McIntyre, the real problem is what Reigns’ return means for his own ambitions. After all, McIntyre is still looking for redemption after getting screwed out of the WWE Championship at Clash at the Castle. And with Cody Rhodes currently holding the gold, he knows Reigns is lurking, waiting to reclaim his spot at the top.

“The problem is, when I want the title, if he’s back in power, I can’t get the title—specifically the one I was screwed out of at Clash at the Castle,” McIntyre said. “The one Cody has right now. Roman’s angling to get it back. It’s all part of the bigger picture.”

Despite claiming he’s no longer fighting for the company, McIntyre admitted that he might have no choice but to step in and stop Reigns himself.

“I used to be the hero for everybody, happily. Now I’m the reluctant hero who has to stop Roman, has to get the title, and as a side effect, I save everybody—as usual,” he added.

Drew McIntyre is making it crystal clear—he’s not about to let Roman Reigns waltz back in, reclaim his throne, and act like nothing happened. While the rest of the WWE Universe may be celebrating Reigns’ return, McIntyre is calling him out for what he sees as a calculated power grab.

With WrestleMania 41 looming, the tension is building, and if McIntyre has his way, The Tribal Chief won’t get a free pass back to the top. Will Reigns respond to McIntyre’s bold words, or will the Scottish Warrior have to force the issue himself? Let us know what you think—does McIntyre have a point, or is he just bitter about his own missed opportunities?
