Zelina Vega is officially heading to WWE SmackDown, but she’s not making the jump with her LWO stablemates.
During the January 27 episode of WWE Raw, Michael Cole announced that Vega was moving to the blue brand as part of the transfer window, which is set to close after Royal Rumble weekend. However, Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee, Joaquin Wilde, and Cruz Del Toro are staying put.
Shortly after the news broke, Vega took to Twitter/X to share her emotions about the bittersweet transition. She posted a heartfelt picture with Rey Mysterio, admitting that the move brought some tears.
“I may have cried a little,” Vega wrote. “But Rey has taught me well, and I am forever grateful and honored. I’ll represent him and the LWO on SmackDown.”
Vega’s history with the LWO dates back to October 2022, when she made her WWE return alongside Legado del Fantasma. By March 2023, the group had fully rebranded under Mysterio’s leadership, becoming an official extension of the legendary Latino World Order.
Now, with Vega on SmackDown and Mysterio staying behind, it remains to be seen how WWE will handle this split. Will Vega continue flying the LWO flag solo, or will this mark a major shift in her career? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
