Cora Jade isn’t holding back when it comes to Bayley’s sudden interest in WWE NXT, and she’s making it clear that she doesn’t appreciate the former champion sticking her nose where it doesn’t belong.
During an interview on Busted Open After Dark, Jade questioned why Bayley—who has been feuding with her best friend Roxanne Perez—keeps showing up on NXT when she should be focused on the main roster.
“I don’t understand, if Bayley is someone who has investment in the future, then why is she coming to ‘NXT’ and taking time from future stars? We’re fine without her. We don’t need her.”
Jade didn’t stop there. She straight-up called Bayley’s motives phony, accusing her of trying to stay relevant after getting knocked down a few pegs by Tiffany Stratton.
“Now all of a sudden, NXT’s cool and popular, and now she wants to come back?” Jade questioned. “She just wants the relevancy again, and she thinks she’s gonna get that from Roxanne and me. She’s quite frankly getting old and irrelevant.”
Jade also pointed out Bayley’s interaction with WWE NXT Women’s Champion Giulia, saying that it was obvious Bayley had her eyes on the title.
“Bayley came in making something that wasn’t about her about her. Once again, here comes Bayley.”
Bayley might claim she’s back in NXT to help the next generation, but Cora Jade isn’t buying it. With shots fired and accusations of Bayley chasing relevancy, this rivalry is only heating up. Is Jade speaking the truth, or is she just bitter about a former champion stepping into her world?
So is Bayley really here to help elevate NXT talent, or is she just looking for another championship run? Do you think Cora Jade is right to call her out? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
