WWE’s first-ever event with Cosm is already a smash hit, as tickets for the Royal Rumble inside Cosm’s state-of-the-art immersive dome in Dallas have completely sold out.
According to Fightful Select, the overwhelming demand has forced WWE and Cosm leadership to open additional General Admission seating in The Hall, an area just outside The Dome. To make the experience even more special, WWE talent will reportedly join fans in The Hall to watch the Royal Rumble live, creating a unique, up-close experience unlike anything WWE has done before.
The partnership between WWE and Cosm, announced earlier this year, promises to bring major WWE Premium Live Events into a new era of fan engagement. The Royal Rumble on February 1 will be the first event to utilize Cosm’s mind-blowing 87-foot LED domes, which blend virtual and physical environments to make fans feel like they’re sitting ringside—without ever stepping foot in the arena.
With the Royal Rumble already a sellout and Elimination Chamber up next on March 1, the demand for these events is only growing. WWE is expected to release details on WrestleMania 41 at Cosm soon, and after this massive response, it wouldn’t be surprising if that sells out just as fast.
