AEW’s plans took a hit this week when Samoa Joe vs. Nick Wayne had to be pulled from Dynamite due to extreme winter weather and flight cancellations. But now, fans won’t have to wait long to see the match go down.

Tony Khan has officially rescheduled the match for AEW Collision Homecoming on January 25, confirming the news on social media.

Originally set for Wednesday night’s Dynamite, the match was postponed at the last minute when travel delays prevented Nick Wayne from making it to Knoxville, Tennessee, in time. Khan assured fans the bout would be rescheduled, and now it’s locked in for Saturday night.

AEW Collision January 25 lineup:

  • Mariah May and Toni Storm meet face-to-face
  • Daniel Garcia & 2point0 vs. Undisputed Kingdom (Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong)
  • Gates of Agony vs. Buddy Matthews & Brody King
  • Big Bill vs. Powerhouse Hobbs
  • AEW International Championship: Konosuke Takeshita (c) vs. Katsuyori Shibata
  • Samoa Joe vs. Nick Wayne

Despite the last-minute shake-up, AEW is keeping the action rolling, and fans won’t have to wait long for Joe and Wayne to settle things in the ring. Will Wayne step up to the challenge, or will the AEW World Champion prove why he’s the king of the mountain?
