Tessa Blanchard’s return to TNA iMPACT just got even more interesting. The former TNA World Champion has been making headlines since re-entering the company, but now she’s bringing family into the mix.

WWE Hall of Famer and one of wrestling’s most notorious heels, Tully Blanchard, was backstage at the January 23 TNA iMPACT taping, and sources confirm that material was filmed involving the father-daughter duo. While details about the segment remain under wraps, it marks a major moment for TNA, as Tully hasn’t been involved with the company in years.

Tessa’s return has already been laced with controversy. She made waves on the January 23 episode when she took the mic and torched San Antonio, trashing its sports teams and even referencing the loss of the Alamo. Fans let her hear it, but Blanchard powered through, claiming that she was born to be better than any Von Erich or “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. “You will hear a lot about me, but you will never hear that I’m not great,” she declared.

Now, with Tully in the picture, it raises a lot of questions. Is this just a one-off moment, or is Tully going to play a bigger role in Tessa’s future? Could this be the start of a new Blanchard dynasty in TNA?
