TNA Genesis 2025 was quite a night for the company. There were several big moments during the event, including Josh Alexander quitting his job after taking a tough loss to Mike Santana in an I Quit match.

During the January 21 episode of TNA Wrestling, Josh Alexander was on hand to address him quitting TNA. This was a big shocking moment at Genesis that nobody saw coming.

Josh Alexander appeared on Impact Wrestling this week, because Santino Marella told him that he had to be there. Alexander brought up his loss at Genesis and how he quit TNA Wrestling. Fans in the Impact Zone booed him heavily as he thanks the company for letting him address things.

The Walking Weapon said that he’s prided himself for being unbreakable for twenty years. However, he was broken at TNA Genesis when he fell to Mike Santana. Then he called Santana the new standard in TNA.

Travis Williams and Judas Icarus were with Alexander in the ring, and he turned to them to tell them that they are a great tag team, and the future. That is when Travis Williams and Judas Icarus told Josh Alexander that he can’t leave TNA Wrestling. Suddenly, the team jumped Alexander.

Eric Young ran down to save Josh Alexander, and that set up a tag team match for next week. We will have to see what is next in this storyline.

Josh Alexander was once tag team partners with Ethan Page in The North. After Page went to AEW, and now he’s with NXT, Alexander became a top name in TNA Wrestling. Now that Alexander is at another crossroads, one has to wonder if we may have a reunion for The North in the future. It seems that, despite quitting TNA Wrestling, Josh Alexander isn’t done quite yet.
