The Steiner family has had a huge impact on the wrestling world and now the next generation is continuing their legacy as Bron Breakker has become a rising star in WWE. Interestingly enough, he revealed that his cousin Brandon is also interested in becoming a wrestler, keeping the Steiner tradition alive.
While speaking on the No Contest Wrestling podcast, Bron Breakker was asked whether fans can expect more of his family members to enter the pro wrestling business, notably cousins. Breakker revealed that both of his cousins, Brock Rechsteiner and Brandon Rechsteiner, are interested in becoming wrestlers. He expects Brock to be the first to make the jump.
Brandon, who currently plays basketball at Virginia Tech as a point guard, has also considered a wrestling career. While Brandon hopes to make it to the NBA, if that doesn’t happen, both cousins are likely to follow in Bron’s footsteps and enter the wrestling world.
“He’s coming, yeah, he’s coming. I got Brock—Brock’s probably going to be the first one. And then my cousin Brandon, he’s a basketball player at Virginia Tech, by the way. Yeah, he’s a point guard. He’s a young buck, but he’s a stud.
So, you know, if he doesn’t go to the NBA, then he’s trying wrestling—which I know is something he has talked about and wants to do—they’re coming. They’re coming.”
This comes after Scott Steiner confirmed that his son Brock Rechsteiner has already been offered an NIL deal by Triple H. Therefore, we’ll have to see when Brock becomes a WWE Superstar, as it’s clear Brandon Rechsteiner will pursue a career shortly after him in good time.
